A length-adjustable pet hair broom with rubber bristles for wrangling the fur trapped in your carpet. If that’s not enough to have you reaching for this broom constantly, there’s also a built-in squeegee for corralling spilled liquids and cleaning glass.

Emma Lord / BuzzFeed, amazon.com

Check out my coworker’s FURemover Evrilholder broom review for more deets and some very satisfying hair-removal photos!

Promising review: “I love this damn thing. I use the squeegee side daily on a sealed concrete floor to pick up dog hair. Works like a champ, and even does a great job on edges. So easy, the hubby voluntarily sweeps with it every day, sometimes twice. I also got him an EyeVac to instantly suck all the hair and dirt up without him having to go hunt a dustpan and chase the dustpan debris line across the floor.” —PA Lady

2. A tattoo aftercare salve because it soothes, protects, and enhances your ink, whether you got it five days or five years ago. Made from just seven vegan and cruelty-free ingredients, this balm is sensitive skin-safe and will make both colored and monochrome tats POP.

Mad Rabbit was founded by college friends Oliver Zak and Selom Agbitor after seeing a gap in the market for all-natural products to heal, protect and enhance tattoos. They pitched their tattoo salve in season 12 of Shark Tank.

Promising review: “Product was awesome. It rejuvenated a 5-year-old tattoo and made it look like new again. Mad Rabbit absorbed into the skin very easily without being greasy.” —Janson Ward

A water-repellant Rain-X glass treatment to help protect car windows and headlights from the fogging and streaking powers of rain, sleet, and snow.

amazon.com

Readers also use this to keep their eyeglasses from fogging!

Promising review: “I had a cheap, untempered windshield that was awful in the rain. A friend of mine from college recommended Rain-X and I was shocked at the difference. I applied it with a soft rag and sat there wondering if it was even on properly. I trusted the system and then later that night took my car out for a drive; it rained while I was out and the difference was instantly noticeable. Before, when using my wipers, streaks would obscure my view so much that any lights would make driving in the rain hard. Now, the droplets don’t smear and smaller ones sometimes just roll off. It’s pretty great.” —Alison J. Gong

4.

A set of ultra-comfortable high-waisted cotton underwear with plenty of stretch, a no-roll wide waistband, and full coverage that’ll help prevent any wedgie-induced tug-of-war action between you and your sweet cheeks.

amazon.com

To learn why my BuzzFeed Shopping colleague loves these, check out her UMMISS underwear review.

Promising review: “So, I have been searching for new underwear for a while. I have always bought Hanes boyshorts, but the quality has gotten terrible. They would get holes in the material within weeks and would stretch out. I loved the fit and comfort of boyshort cut, and was hesitant to try something different. I HATE when underwear digs into my groin/thighs. These underwear are fantastic! Honestly I’m shocked at how comfortable they are. I was expecting to hate them, but I love them. They are soft and don’t dig in at all. The elastic is not exposed. The wide band in the front is so comfortable. The stitching seems durable. Only time will tell exactly how durable and long lasting these will be. But so far, I’m very happy with my purchase. I will be getting more.” —Dianarazana

An easy-to-use air pressure wine opener with an included foil cutter if having to perform an arm workout to open a bottle of wine is not your idea of a good time. Just insert the “needle” into the cork, press the plunger down a few times, and your vino is ready to be poured.

Amazon

Promising review: “OK I am going to admit that I’m not the strongest person out there. When I received a bottle of wine for Christmas I realized that I literally had NO way of opening it! I hopped onto Amazon and found this. It looks easy so I bought it and a topper. After it showed up I grabbed the bottle and followed the instructions. I had my bottle open on the first try! This opener is amazing and I am buying another to gift to a friend.” —Lisa Steinmetz

A tube of Differin acne treatment gel so you can jumpstart your skincare routine with one of the strongest spot treatments you can get without a prescription. Reviewers warn some patience is required (but it’s worth it), so give this retinoid cream a chance to work its pore-penetrating, inflammation-reducing magic.

amazon.com

This is *very* strong and reviewers say that while it works, it might make your skin sensitive and dry while it adjusts (much like Accutane). They recommend that you always moisturize after using this, and to use it at night while you’re out of the sun.

Promising review: “It definitely works. I was on a prescription retinoid and benzoyl peroxide combo cream (it’s double the price) + spironolactone pill for my hormonal acne before and it worked. I had to stop both for a while for personal reasons, after several months my hormones started acting up again. I had a really bad breakout, so I asked my doctor if I can at least get back on the cream, my doctor advised me to try this instead. Any active pimples heal very fast, scarring and texture is also improving. And I don’t even have to bother with prescriptions anymore.” —LC

A clever dishwasher magnet for stopping the next unsuspecting house dweller from putting a dirty fork in that load of freshly cleaned dishes.

amazon.com

Promising review: “I purchased this magnet for my dishwasher to help my family in knowing when the dishwasher was clean versus dirty. It has also helped me to remember to start the dishwasher instead of waking up to it being dirty, since I like to load it during the day and run it at night when water is cheaper and it provides a soothing white noise for me to sleep to. What I love about this magnet is that it has a great magnetic grip to my dishwasher; it doesn’t fall off when I put the lid down. I rotate it without ever removing the magnet from the dishwasher. I am very happy with it.” —Nicole Durham

Promising review: “Wow!!! You wonder if things like this really work and well, I can absolutely confirm it does! First, I was impressed that the package came with two of the devices because I was only expecting one. So there was one for the fitted sheet, and the flat sheet. Finally, I tried it out and my sheets not only did NOT wad up, they came out of the dryer feeling fresher, feeling more dry, and unwrinkled! A roll of reusable bamboo towels if you’re tired of wasting money on expensive, single-use paper towels. They’re 100% machine washable, super absorbent, and soft enough to use on skin. Best of all? One roll offsets up to 60 rolls of conventional paper towels.

Amazon

They’re made from sustainable, organic bamboo — one roll replaces 60 paper towel rolls. Plus they’re machine-washable and SUPER strong! They can be used ~120+ times~ before discarding.

Promising review: “I am such a fan of these bamboo towels. I purchased six rolls a year and a half ago and just came back and purchased three additional rolls to eventually replace the ones that have been permanently damaged from staining, worn from over use, or accidentally thrown away. I have so many left from my original order that I haven’t even opened the three packs I just purchased. To be honest, I just want them on hand in case more get thrown away. As far as durability, these towels are thick enough to wet and reuse several times, and I find that using them sanitize/bleach combination keeps them from developing any stains. I would say that 95% of the towels that I still have are as white as the day that I purchased them, and I use them for everything in the kitchen, so they get very dirty.” —Geekette

A washable leak-proof floor mat so you can keep your floors looking like they did before you introduced a lovable but messy child into your home. The top easily wipes clean, while the bottom is dotted with silicone dots for safe, skid-proof protection.

amazon.com

Promising review: “Not just a food/high chair mat! My mom once said she used to put a tarp under my sister and me when we were eating in the high chair and I thought she was weird until I had my own kids. This is a great idea!!!! It’s good for every meal or just the messy ones. It’s plenty big, but not excessive. What I like the best is the grip; It has the sticky grips, like a bathroom rug or grippy slippers. It’s not super thick so it can be washed with other stuff and not take up too much room in the washer. It is made of good material that keeps your floors/surfaces clean and allows you to do a quick wipe off and use again without fully washing. But my favorite part of what I realized is this will be great for arts and crafts activities as well as picnics. Use it to cover your table so the markers or paints don’t get all over or use it for a play mat at the park. It’s way easier to wash than a blanket or picnic mat. Totally worth it!!!” —Kylee

Promising review: “Who has a picky eater? My son is very limited with his diet. He is autistic and has sensory processing disorder. I took the plunge and got the pirate-themed one. I surprised him tonight with it and HE ATE EVERYTHING on the plate! My surprise for him was a piece of chocolate. I taped down the lid to the prize so he couldn’t peek. Since it was his first time, I didn’t want to push it too much so I alternated food he really enjoys, with foods he doesn’t, mainly due to their texture. He loved it! Even when he struggled, he pushed through to get to the next ‘level,’ as he calls it. I have a Blenheim Cavalier whose white fur is WHITE when she returns from the groomer. She has a habit of walking through mulch, dirt, etc and it isn’t long before her white fur is beige. I love how I can give her a spritz, rub it into her coat, dry, and brush. She’s then back to white. This is a great product.” —SHOPPIN MOMMA

29 Inexpensive Beauty Products That’ll Probably Become Your Holy Grail Items

BuzzFeed Shopping editor Natalie Brown says, “I have oily, acne-prone skin and use a prescription retinol to control things, which means I MUST use sunscreen on my face every day. For the first few years I was using said retinol, though, I stubbornly insisted that I should be able to find a decent, non-greasy sunscreen option at the drugstore. And while I still hold that I shouuuld be able to find such a thing, I tried four or five different formulas — even ones that were supposed to be matte or nongreasy — and all of them left me with an oil-slick face by the end of the day. Finally my mom, who had been using this Supergoop stuff the whole time, got me a bottle of this cult-favorite for Christmas last year (moms do know best sometimes!!). I couldn’t be happier with it! A dime-size amount covers my entire face, because it’s translucent it leaves absolutely no white cast, and 10 minutes after putting it on, my face just feels like I applied a little bit of a nice moisturizer or makeup primer, not anything that’s grease-central, like sunscreen usually is. It does pill if I put it on too soon after my morning topical acne prescription, but as long as I give that script about five minutes to sink in, I have no issues. I’ve been impressed by the way my matte foundation glides over it, looks with it, and lasts with it.”

Promising review: “Totally worth the hype! I’ve tried so many other SPF products, and this is the ONLY one that works best for my skin. I have dry/normal or normal/combination skin, depending on the season. It blends so smoothly. Works amazing as a primer before applying makeup. It goes on clear, which is what I was looking for in a sunblock since I have tan/dark skin tone and other sunblocks leave a white cast causing my skin to look purple-ish. I’ve already repurchased this item 4 times and I’ll keep purchasing it over and over again!” —JayEm24
