The reality star was still rocking her bleach blonde hair from the Met Gala on May 2, this time putting her locks back into a ponytail! Kim revealed the painful process took over 14 hours to do, but was committed to the transformation as she was wearing Marilyn Monroe‘s original 1962 “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” dress to the A-List soirée, chaired by Anna Wintour.

The Los Angeles native has had a busy weekend with her kids this past weekend, as she was also spotted at daughter North‘s basketball game on Saturday, May 14. The stylish 8-year-old, who turns 9 on June 15, upped the ante with her Versace Barocco basketball worth $250. North showed off her skills as she bounced the designer accessory while walking to the game, all ready go in her jersey and shorts.

It’s no surprise North has taken up the sport, which dad Kanye is known to be a big fan of. The “In Paris” rapper even started his own school, Donda Academy, which includes a basketball team and program for students.

North West, 8, Uses $250 Versace Basketball Heading To Game With Mom Kim Kardashian: Photos

With Kanye West and Kim Kardashian as her parents, it’s no surprise that North, 8, is already a burgeoning fashion icon! The eldest West sibling was spotted heading to her basketball game with mom Kim on Saturday, May 14 using none other than a Versace Barocco print basketball, priced at $250 USD (for reference, a regular ball will run between $30 – $60). North was all ready to go in her black jersey and striped shorts, along with a black pair of sneakers.

North confidently bounced the designer basketball, featuring one of the brand’s most iconic prints, as she walked alongside her famous mom. She and Kim were joined by her best friend Maxwell Johnson, who is Jessica Simpson‘s daughter.

Kim, 41, twinned with North in an all black ensemble of her own. The SKIMS founder sported her essential Balenciaga pant leggings (finishing with their signature pointy knife boot), along with an oversized sporty jacket featuring white piping. The mom-of-four held onto a black water bottle to tie her ensemble together (and stay hydrated in the warm Los Angeles weather), keeping her face covered with a frameless pair of ski-goggle inspired sunglasses.

Kim was still rocking her bleach blonde hair from the Met Gala, which she dyed to channel the late Marilyn Monroe. The Kardashians on Hulu star made headlines around the globe for her controversial appearance where she wore Marilyn’s original “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” way back in 1962. She only wore the actual dress, which was on loan from the Orlando Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! museum, for several minutes on the red carpet later changing into a replica.

As part of the process, Kim documented dying her hair — revealing it took hours to accomplish. “I’m spending the whole day just dyeing my hair, 14 hours straight,” she laughed in a behind-the-scenes video, later telling friend LaLa Anthony on the red carpet she would be keeping the look for a while. Just a week ago, Kim looked fabulous rocking the blonde at another one of North’s games!

Ty Dolla $ign, 40, is giving credit to Kendrick Lamar and his highly-anticipated new album. The singer called the fellow musician’s latest release, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, one of the “craziest” albums he’s ever had, during an appearance at the Smirnoff Lemonades Lounge ahead of his headlining performance at the Billboard MusicCon on behalf of Smirnoff and Smirnoff Lemonade on May 14. He also mentioned the fact that he would love to collaborate with the talented hip hop artist just as he did in the past.

“I want to work with Kendrick [Lamar] again. He just dropped one of the craziest albums I’ve ever heard in my life,” Ty EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife in an interview. “So shout out to him.”

The songwriter is known for collaborating with many artists since he broke into the music industry around 2007, including Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Omarion, Fifth Harmony, Jason Derulo, and more, but in addition to Kendrick, there’s still even more he’d like to work with. “I would love to work with Lil Baby, which I haven’t worked with yet,” he continued to tell HL. “Many more for sure. I’m going to just keep on working until it’s said and done.”

As far as what’s he’s been up to lately, Ty confirmed he’s currently working on “a couple of features” but he can’t quite give anything away just yet. “There’s definitely been a couple of features that I’ve been doing with the goats,” he said. “I’ll just put it like that and I’m super excited about that. I’m not going to say any names yet, but you guys already know what we’re doing over here, so be on the lookout for that.”

Ty also talked about his recent collaboration with Motown to create EZMNY Records. “EZMNY Records is going to be one of the greatest labels of this generation,” he promised. “I’ve been working on it for a long time. It’s always been one of my dreams. So me and my partner, Shawn Barron, linked up and we were able to sign one of my favorite artists, Leon Thomas, who I’ve been looking at for a while now. I’m super excited about it, his album is incredible. They just actually sent me the video for the first single that’s going to drop like in a couple of weeks. So I’m super excited.”
